Cost and payment

What does a visit cost?

Two paths. Just needs service: No repair needed. Flat price. Visit included. Full service is $150 for a push mower and $200 for a riding mower, including oil change, spark plug(s), fuel filter, blade sharpening, air filter cleaned (replaced if needed, included), belt check, and grease and lube. Winterization is $100, including installing a fuel cutoff, draining old fuel, and disconnecting the battery. Something's broken: the first visit is $150. Covers diagnosis. If the fix is simple, the repair is done on that visit for $150 total. If a part must be ordered and we return, the price is $150 first visit + $50 return trip + the cost of the part. A loaner mower is available while waiting on the part.

What warranty do I get?

Workmanship is covered for 30 days.

How do I pay?

Cash, Venmo, Cash App, and card on site.

What area do you serve?

Mower Heroes is based in Waxhaw, NC, and typically covers about 30 miles, including Waxhaw, Weddington, Indian Trail, Marvin, Matthews, Monroe, Mint Hill, Hemby Bridge, Wesley Chapel, Fort Mill (SC), and related neighborhoods.

How soon can you come out?

Onsite service is typically within 2–3 days. The van carries common parts and consumables, so many repairs finish on the first visit. A request is confirmed by reply; a time slot is not guaranteed when the request is submitted.

The work

What do you work on?

Small engines, not only mowers: string trimmers and weed eaters, blowers, chainsaws, pressure washers, and other small-engine equipment. Brands commonly seen in the field include Husqvarna, John Deere, Toro, Cub Cadet, Troy-Bilt, Craftsman, Snapper, Ariens, Honda, Briggs & Stratton, and Kohler.

What if the repair isn’t worth it?

If a repair isn’t worth it, Mower Heroes says so before turning the first bolt.

Do you work with commercial accounts?

Fleet maintenance is for lawn-care and yard-cutting crews: onsite service and loaners to limit downtime during the season. Ask about commercial account billing.
