Craftsman

Craftsman repair & maintenance

Decades of models, one standard: fix it right or say so.

Craftsman spans generations—some units are simple and bulletproof, others hide oddball linkages and swapped engine brands. We don’t treat your mower like a generic part number. We figure out what’s actually on the machine, what failed, and what keeps you mowing without repeat breakdowns.

What we work on

  • Cross-generation expertise: Briggs, Honda, and other engines found under Craftsman decks
  • Drive and cutting systems: traction issues, vibration, and uneven height
  • Electrical gremlins: safety switches, interlocks, and starter circuits
  • Honest triage: when a motor or deck is past sensible repair, we’ll tell you

Common questions

I don’t know what engine is on my Craftsman mower. Is that a problem?

Not for us. We identify the powerplant and linkage setup on arrival and quote based on what you actually have—not what the sticker used to say ten years ago.

Can you help with a Craftsman riding mower that clicks but won’t crank?

Yes. That pattern is often battery voltage, starter solenoid, starter motor, or a safety interlock. We trace it instead of guessing.

Do you work on older Craftsman models?

We do, as long as we can get parts or acceptable substitutes. Vintage doesn’t scare us; unobtainium parts sometimes means a frank conversation—and we’ll have it.
